Losing Weight

Hebrews 12:1 NIV: Therefore,
since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us
throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles,
and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.

Have
you ever wanted to shed a few extra pounds? Having a problem with your
weight can have many adverse effects on your health, emotional
attitude, and mental state. The same is true when it comes to other
kinds of weight we carry. The things that weigh us down can be just
about anything: the cares of this life, decisions to make, sins that
beset us. Daily we are faced with the potential to take up a cross not
meant for us. Jesus said, "Take my yoke upon you �my yoke is easy and
my burden is light." Peter tells us to, "Cast all your anxiety on him
because he cares for you." Jesus is ready, willing, and more than able,
to help you shoulder the load of life, and to shed whatever weighs you
down. Not sure what´s weighing you down? Ask Him to show you. And find
in Him what you need to throw off what hinders and entangles, weighs
you down and causes you to stumble. Find in Him the freedom to run with
perseverance.
