My answers
Originally found while snooping throw_away_game's LJ (this entry is friends-locked on her LJ, so you might not be able to read my answers, hence their inclusion here):

1. Name: Sarah Ann Teresa Alixandra Apsey
2. Date of birth: 10-15-1972 (yeah, back when dirt was invented, bitches!) :P
3. Place of Birth: Toledo, Ohio
4. Time of Birth: 8:31 am
5. Tell me about yourself: I am a legend in my own mind, and I *love* to be in love! I also play drums (when I can), sing loud and long, knit, and just generally try to be a pain in the ass as often as possible. (well, you asked!)
6. Do you read my journal?: doy, silly!
7. What is the air-speed velocity of an unladen swallow?: http://www.style.org/unladenswallow/
8. Interesting fact about yourself: I once sang lead vocals as the drummer in a short-lived, all-girl punk band I was in in Toledo, we were called Click, and we opened for Broadzilla at the [now-defunct] Bottle Rocket night club.
9. Are you in love at the moment, or do you have a crush?: yes, yes, and Oh *hell* yes!!! ;) [disclaimer: I am *always* in love. It's just part of being a Libra. If there's no guy in the picture, chances are I'm content being in love with myself. Yeah.]
10. Favourite spot/place to be: on the shores of Lake Michigan when it's cold, rainy and preferably foggy
11. Your favourite lyrics (poetry or song): oh wow ... there are so many... favorite lyrics du jour: "I'm pushing an elephant up the stairs, I'm tossing up punchlines that were never there, over my shoulder a piano fa-alls, crash into the grou-ou-ou-ou-ound, I'm breaking through, I'm bending spoons, I'm keeping flowers in full bloom, I'm looking for answers from the Great Beyond..." Song: The Great Beyond. Artist: R.E.M.
12. Best time of the year: Spring

RECOMMEND:
1. A movie: Bottle Rocket
2. A book: "House of Leaves", by Mark Danielewski
3. Artist/band, song and album: Ani DiFranco, "Untouchable Face", Dilate
4. a person for me to add and why: heartofarsenic because I have yet to find an LJ that cracks me up/makes me think as much as this guy's does! (or girl's, I'm not really sure which) I hope he/she never deletes it, so I can go back and get a laugh every now and then.

PLUS:
1. One thing you like about me: your poetry!!!
2. Two things you like about yourself: my friends, my enemies
3. If we have mutual LJ friends, tell me what you like about them: I don't think we have any :( Although feel free to add c0rrupt0 or lordeden, both of whom are from the _geek_love
4. Put this in your own journal so I can tell you what I like about you, if you'd like.

Lol, wow that's awesome! Thanks for putting a smile on my face this day! :) The swallow thing was hilarious!! I love that you say you are "true to yourself" -- believe me when I tell you that the older you get, the harder that becomes, so the fact you're practicing early in life is very encouraging!

Ninja in training, huh? Remind never to piss you off!!! ;)

I *have* seen Fight Club -- I'd forgotten I had until I just now read your reply, yeah, I'd recommend that movie too!

And now I've found another overwhelming trait of geeks: multiple names. :) Which, taken with the arrogance and hotblooded sex drive, leads me to believe that geeks *shall* inherit the earth, because we are so strong in our identities. We are not necessarily searching; we already know who we are.

Thanks for playing!

You sound too good to be true. If nothing else I think you and I are going to be good friends for a very long time. :)

5. I have always been accused of being a "dreamer". Nowadays I wanna tell people, "Yeah, and what would this world be like without dreamers? A world I would not want to be in, that's for sure." ... I have a special place in my heart for the word "determined". I distinctly remember when I first learned what the word meant. I was in 6th grade, and after I learned what "determined" meant I went around telling people, "I am determined." That's all! Not determined about anything in particular, just "determined", as if it were like saying I'm "happy", lol! I really identified with that word, for some reason, and it's just as true today! :)

7. Aha! I knew it!! I think you have answered that question more accurately than anyone so far.

8. Nice. I can see where this is going. ;)

10. Yeah, I hate heights too. I'd clean up on Fear Factor, if it weren't for the challenges involving heights. I also like a good view, too. :)

11. Oh, yes! I *love* that song! I loved it before Moulin Rouge made it popular, though, and I must admit, although Ewan McGregor does one hell of good job with it, I'll always be partial to the original. But yes, Ewan McGregor really won my admiration for his rendition of that song.

12. That is beautiful... you're not just saying you're a poet; you really are

if you could only see the smile on my face now :)

I would rock on Fear Facter as well, expect for the food parts. I can conquer any fear temproarly, especailly if there was $$$$ in vovled. But choking down Coagulated blood balls does not sound liek something I would get over.

See, the food parts are exactly what don't bother me. I'll eat anything. ;) I'll let your imagination do what it will with that one! Lol

Seriously though, I do not understand why people won't eat the sheep eyes or the pig brains. Eating live stink beetles would be more difficult; it's one thing to eat something that's an inanimate object. Quite another to eat a live bug.

But then, I suppose some people can't understand my fear of heights either, so there you go. Hence a show called 'Fear Factor'.

Get people to eat maggot pie while crossing a 9" wide plank 50 stories up -- now THAT would be something!!! :)

sent my imagination into a tailspin on that one.

I woudl try pig brains. I am usually down for trying anything once, or at least trying to try it. I used to swallow live frogs for bets when I was younger.

Oh my God, that is me: "I'll try anything once." !!! If I had a dollar for all the times I've said that, that is my motto in life. That, and "variety is the spice of life" -- however, that doesn't apply to all areas of my life. ;)

I used to swallow live frogs for bets when I was younger.

Somehow, I can see you doing that. :)
