So here's how my day's been so far:

  • Opened sliding glass door to take younger dog, Sattva, out to pee. Older dog, Bodie, jetted out before I could do anything and decided to wander next door and look into their sliding glass door, which is not hard to do since we live in apartments. Next door neighbors have 2 dogs, one of which is a pit bull breed (like both of our dogs). Luckily nothing happened, but I called Bodie's name repeatedly and he ignored me. Bad dog. Very bad dog. Called husband to help; I have never had to do that. Like I said nothing happened, but that is exactly not the kind of stress with which I care to start my day. Taking Sattva out to pee is the first thing I do in the morning. I do not even get breakfast first, so I barely have any energy to do that, let alone anything beyond that.

  • When I finally did get breakfast I discovered the milk I bought last night is spoiled.

  • I sure do hope this is not a harbinger of things to come today. I don't know when I'm going to reach my breaking point. I'm so close to it, I'm always surprised when it doesn't happen.
